With the start of the Fall season, not only is it the time of year when the leaves turn brown and Pumpkin Spice appears at everyone’s favorite coffee place, but it’s also time for the construction industry’s favorite convention, CONSTRUCT – the official convention of CSI. This year, CONSTRUCT was held in Long Beach, CA; home of The Queen Mary and Snoop Dogg.
CSI East Bay-Oakland chapter members Vonnie Bower, Robert Hemphill, Jose Mendoza, and Mary Nowee attended this year’s CONSTRUCT, which was given the social media hashtag “#CONSTRUCT2018”. Vonnie and Robert were kind enough to share photos of their adventures, for which the CSI EBO web/social media team was very grateful!

CSI Honors & Awards Ceremony
One of the highlights of the CONSTRUCT event for CSI members is the CSI Honors & Awards ceremony. The ceremony is a chance to recognize outstanding accomplishments of both chapters and individual members.
CSI East Bay-Oakland chapter was honored and humbled to receive two awards at the ceremony: Outstanding Chapter Commendation and The Chapter Cup; The Chapter Cup recognizes the chapters with the greatest percentage increase in total membership. Thank you to the CSI Institute for the recognition!
